Daybook is record-keeping and analysis software that runs on your own computer. It is not financial advice, tax advice or a tax agent service, and a tax report it prepares is working papers, not a tax return. Check the figures, or have your accountant check them, before anything is filed or acted on.
The free edition is free, for any personal use. A paid licence key is for you: it unlocks the paid features for one person's own accounts, on any machines of yours, for the period it states. Do not publish or resell keys. Keys are verified on your machine; when one lapses, the free edition and everything it ever produced keep working.
Daybook collects nothing. There is no account to create, and the software sends no data anywhere - your statements, figures and reports stay in files on your computer, which you can export or delete from inside the app at any time. This website sets no cookies and runs no trackers. Purchases are processed by a merchant of record - the checkout names them - and your payment details and receipt email live with them, under their privacy policy, not with us.
Refunds are handled by the merchant of record under the policy shown at checkout. Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including its consumer guarantees, or any equivalent law where you live.
Daybook is provided as-is. It is tested carefully and its figures are checked against published examples, and it can still contain faults - to the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for losses that come from relying on it without checking. To the extent the law does not allow that (the Australian Consumer Law again), it applies as written.
